ROADBLOCKERS Guest Photos
Photos of models that utilize Roadblockers decals.

One of the nicest kit bashes to come along in a while, this Athearn 1/50th scale Ford F800 front mount pumper was submitted by our friend Troy Gibson. Troy is an accomplished kit basher and his works have graced the pages of Roadblockers many times in the past. Troy took a stock F800 and removed the markings. Photo on the right shows the truck in the early stage. He added the 1/50th scale California OES markings from the Roadblockers Los Angeles County sheet. The BR-5 comes from my San Diego sheet. He also added a California style 911 decal from a police car sheet, and a Star of Life to the back cabinet. This is a nice clean build, and one of the best examples I have seen of OES rigs. Great job Troy.

Here is a great kit bash by Steve McGuire. Steve used the cab from a Road Champs and a combination of Code 3 and scratch building for the rear body. He finished off the model with Roadblockers CDF decals.

The two cars above were done by Troy Gibson. Troy used the new multi scale Brush Fire sheet (FD-3) and used the larger scale emblems and stripes to create the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and US Forest Service Crown Victoria's in 1/43 scale.
The photos above show before and after shots of Chris Osterhoudt's beautiful Diecast Promotions 379 Peterbuilt in 1/64th scale. It is all stock except for changing the rims/tires. Chris added mufflers and stacks rather than the Straight pipes it came with. He removed and replaced the show fenders, with more typical, less luxurious quarter fenders and mudflaps. The White stripe is from the Roadblockers Phoenix Fire Department sheet. He used a simple angle cut to make the taper of the stripe on the hood.
Two great kit bashes sent in by Troy Gibson. The Code 3 membership tanker was made in to a foam unit using Roadblockers Los Angeles City decals, and the Ward LaFrance was made in to a period correct San Diego Fire Department rig using the San Diego Fire Department sheet.

The Chicago Fire Department ladder truck above was sent in by my friend Andy Theobald from Germany.

The model above is by Richard Tame from New Zealand. Richard used a Code 3 membership tanker and the Los Angeles City Roadblockers sheet to create a very nice helicopter tender.

Above is by Larry Levy.

Above models are from Patrick Clercq from Belgium. Patrick used Los Angeles City decals on a 1/50th scale Corgi Seagrave.

Two more from Patrick Clercq. Patrick made the 1/50th scale tanker using parts from DCP, Corgi and Solido. The Corgi ALF is also decorated with Roadblockers decals.
This is the First Gear 1/25 scale fire dozer by Troy Gibson. Troy added Roadblockers CDF decals to an already outstanding piece.

Above is another project sent in by Troy Gibson. Troy used the new Roadblockers Los Angeles County decal sheet on a First Gear 1/25th scale Dozer.

The LA City ambulance is by Andy Theobald from Germany. The tanker is a Billy MacLeod kit bash.

The above four models are from Billy MacLeod. Great work Billy.

Another great kit bash from Andy Theobald. The Code 3 membership tanker with FDNY decals. Great job Andy.
